The Septum piercing is through the area in between the nostrils, the septum of the nose. There is a soft webbing underneath the cartilage, thin like a few sheets of paper.

A ring is generally used- a u shaped retainer can be used aswell that can be turned up into the noseso you cant see any jewelry but stil retain the piercing.

Healing time is 4 to 8 weeks and any jewelry changing should wait a minimum of 4 weeks- stretching should take place after 8 weeks.
